El pequeño Jimmy Acosta de la CNN estuvo hoy en la rueda de prensa tratando de encasillar a Sarah Sanders sobre la declaración de Trump el viernes por la mañana sobre que los demócratas son antiisraelíes y anti judíos.

Primero, aquí están los comentarios de Trump del viernes por la mañana como recordatorio:




Al tratar de enmarcar los comentarios anteriores de Trump como absurdos, Acosta defendió rápidamente a los demócratas diciendo que no odian a los judíos, eso es tonto ... ¡no es cierto!

Trump nunca dijo que los demócratas odian a los judíos. Eso es una tontería de Acosta.

Trump señaló la votación en la que se negaron a condenar los comentarios antisemitas de Ilhan Omar o la llamaron por su nombre y dijeron que se habían convertido en la PARTE antiisraelí y antijudía.

Y es absolutamente cierto. El hecho de que hubo tal levantamiento en la fiesta cuando decidieron condenar los insultos de Omar solo demuestra el punto de vista de Trump. Hay tanto antisemitismo y simpatías pro musulmanas en el partido que los demócratas tuvieron que retroceder casi por completo.

Acosta necesita aclarar sus hechos. Pero está claro que solo está allí para poner su cara en la televisión.

Of course, this is all political and it’s ultimately meaningless because Trump will veto it, and the opponents of his national emergency don’t have enough votes to overcome it. Still, it will hurt him politically a little bit. Not much really. On the other hand, he really needs to expand his support beyond his base, or we’re gonna see a replay of the midterms… also, #MAGA!!!
